Fingado Art Gallery is  located in the arts friendly community of El Cerrito just east and across the bay from San Francisco. The owner, Pam Fingado is a local artist and former art school teacher.  As an advocate for arts in the community, Pam recognized a need for a space that would encourage and support emerging artists as well a place where neighborhood artists could meet, connect and form new friendships.  In addition, she noticed the success of the newly formed Stockton Stroll where on the second Friday night of every other month local artists, galleries and businesses open their doors to the public for artist receptions, studio visits or art/music events.  What better time to join in the fun!

 

        Pam’s intention is to feature local artists, host salon discussions, offer poetry readings, and provide workshops and art demonstrations.  Fingado Gallery will offer regular exhibits with the purpose of attracting new collectors and enhancing the art scene in El Cerrito.  

         Classes will be available that inform and educate new collectors and advise local businesses on the selection of art. Site specific services will be provided for businesses and home owners who desire additional or more personal attention with their selections.    

        

        We also offer a carefully chosen selection of hand blown glass ware, fused glass plates, jewelry, artist’s cards and ceramics. At all time you will find a changing assortment of these items as I find new and exciting artisans.

     Fingado Art Gallery participates in the Stockton Avenue Art Stroll and is a host gallery. Every second Friday of every other month several El Cerrito galleries and business, organizations and local artists open their doors and invite the community to enjoy the local art.  The public is welcome. Music is provided as well as an assortment of refreshments.
